Helping people find and follow Jesus.

This Sunday

Resolution

When I was seventeen, it was a very good year.  I was high on life, God, and felt that the world was my oyster. By the time I was 23, I wasn’t even sure if God was real because none of this Christian stuff was working.

At 17, nothing was going to stop me from being the greatest Christian ever (of course great Christians like Billy Graham and David Nicholson would always be my role models.) But at 23, it was a very bad year.  I was low on life, God, and felt like I was reverse-Midas (everything I touched turned to the opposite of gold.)  I wasn’t sure if God was real or maybe I was just really messed up because none of this Christian stuff was working.

When I was 40, it was a very resolute year.  I rediscovered the words of Jesus in Scripture about not giving up, about a Christian faith that was not all about magical pie in the sky promises, and about a God who was going to be faithful to me no matter what.  I had finally discovered resolution.

Join us this Sunday as Broc shares from 1 John about the ebb and flow of Christianity, and how to hold on through it all. Together, we can all regain the eternal perspective of resolution.
