“Too little time. Too much to do.” Sadly, that’s been the story of my life—especially since I became a pastor. How often have you found yourself at that place where you just can’t do everything that must be done? The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I live in that place—every day. Never finished; there’s always more to do than I can possibly handle. That constant, growing stress has taken its exacting toll on my health and on my character. But… God has been teaching me that there is a better way to live. In fact, it’s the way I was designed to function. It begins by accepting my limitations. It requires careful choices. And it’s accomplished by truly believing that God can do whatever he wants.
