Simplicity
An old Garfield poster once said, “He who dies with the most toys wins.”
This Sunday we’re going to look at what the Bible says about that. As
we do, ask yourself…
“Do you own your things, or do your things own you?”
“What are some specific practical things I can do to avoid the message of materialism that bombards us?

Band of Brothers
Many of you may have read Stephen Ambrose’s Book, Band of Brothers or watched the HBO series, about Easy Company in the 101st Airborne during WWII. They described the close bond of men who went through war together. For the last fifteen years, I’ve been involved with Men’s Groups. Many of us have found the experience to be life changing. We’ve developed close bonds as a result. These groups have been characterized by the study of God’s Word; Prayer; Confidentiality and Candor. We’ll talk about that experience this Sunday.
