In View of God's Mercy...

When was the last time you sat back and thought about how faithful and good God is to you?

Sometimes that’s difficult to do in the midst of rising gas prices, life’s disappointments, and worries about the future. In this series, Associate Pastor Broc Jahnke will guide us through Scripture as we all regain perspective on what our focus / view should be in life. In case you haven’t heard it in a while – God really loves you.

I don’t think God ever meant for us to live this way. Let’s look together at what Jesus has to say about worry and the future.

Everything on television, on billboards, and in slick magazine ads tells us that there is one thing we should focus on: ourselves. A famous theological phrase from the Latin is “imitatio Christi” which means that we should have one goal in life, namely, to imitate Christ. Christ showed us the way to find life: give your life away. What?!? If that makes no sense at all to you, you’re not alone. Come find out what it means to lose your life so you can truly find it.
