The FBCA Men’s Ministry desires to call all men into grace-oriented, authentic relationships with God, their wives, their children, and other men. We also seek to train and inspire men to use their gifts to serve their family, their church, and their community. In order to achieve these goals, we offer several different opportunities throughout the year for men to get involved and be transformed.
The men’s discipleship ministry aims to help men grow deeper in their relationship with Christ through small groups. These groups meet weekly to study the Bible, share life experiences, and encourage and support one another as men, husbands, and fathers. There are morning and evening groups available.
Several times a year we meet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the church. The purpose of these meals is to gather as men for fellowship and to focus on some common aspects of our lives, often through a guest speaker.
Once each year we take a two-night, weekend retreat. It is a great chance to recharge both physically and spiritually and to get to know the men of the church in a relaxed setting. We also take time away from the normal routine with occasional camp-outs.
