Looking for a way to understand the Bible more fully, develop skills for serving, and deal with practical needs in your everyday life? At FBCA we offer a series of classes called "Fellowship Community Classroom." These free classes are open to members of the church and neighbors in the community and are available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. On Wednesday night there are children’s activities for kids (birth through 6th grade) whose parents are attending a class.
Fellowship Community Classroom is designed with you and your family in mind. We know you’re already busy, so the courses only last nine weeks. We steer around major holidays so you can still have a life. And every quarter we try to offer something to help you with the critical issues of real life, like marriage, parenting, and finances.
Join us! It will be an education!

1 Kings 12-22

Did you ever wonder why a good Jewish man like Daniel wound up living in Babylon? The answer lies in the behavior of the people of Israel during the period where the Nation split in two.
Abraham Lincoln used the biblical phrase, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” He was referring to our looming Civil War, but the words apply to this period of Israel’s history.
Previously we have followed our study of the Life of David, with the study of his son and heir, Solomon. Now we continue our study of the Old
Testament, by looking at the period of the divided kingdom. There are lots of bad examples in this period of Israel’s history, but there are also some heroes like Elijah.
Join us in this discussion oriented class at 9:00 am. We take our time as we study the Bible together. Everyone, no matter what your background, has something to contribute in this class.
This class will meet Sundays at 9:00am in the Fellowship Café.
Led by Julie Bell, Joe Spencer and Lalla Shackelford
This newcomer introductory and membership class is a great way to get to know all about Fellowship Bible Church Arapaho. In this class you will learn the history of FBCA, find out what the mission and values of the church are, hear about the many ministry areas we offer including how you can get involved in them and learn how to become a member.
It is open to all who haven’t taken it – whether you have been attending for one week or 20 years.
This four week class will meet September 14 - October 5 at 10:45 am in the Fellowship Café.
Facilitated by Broc Jahnke
If you can answer “yes” to any of the following questions, this may be the class for you:
1. Do your words ever hurt your spouse or loved ones?
2. Have you ever looked back on a relationship and wondered how it became so messy?
3. Are you a human being?
In this series centered in the book of James 4 - 5, we’ll define five of the most common lies that have the potential to ruin relationships with those we love. We’ll uncover the source of quarreling, how our words wound, how not to make decisions, and why better things don’t always make things better.
What we think about life determines how we live it. There is power in
knowing and applying God’s truth when confronted with these lies and
discovering the freedom He longs for us to enjoy in our relationships.
Cost is $10 per person for the workbook.
This class will meet Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm, in the Fellowship House Downstairs.
Led by Chip Bell
It’s so much more than a bunch of stories about dead kings and prophets. In fact, God included in the Bible exactly what He wanted you to know about what He was doing in our world—long before we arrived—indeed long before even Jesus was born! What we call the “Old Testament” is a collection of God’s wisdom and a chronicle of God’s amazing activity. But to understand it well and apply it in our own day, it’s crucial that we learn something about these writings and the world in which they were composed.
In this “big picture” look at the Old Testament, we’ll explore the purpose of each book and discover that its ancient messages are important and
relevant even today.
This class will meet Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm, in the Fellowship Café.

There are five questions that people who profess to be Christians must answer. They are also critical for those who are on the outside examining our faith.
This is a five week class, offered to students grades 7 - 12, that will meet Wednesdays, September 17 - October 15, 6:30 - 8 pm in the Student Center.
