We’re so excited that you are thinking about visiting Fellowship Bible Church! Whether you’re coming with a friend who attends Fellowship, passing through town, or looking for a new church home, we want you to have a wonderful experience at FBCA. Visiting a new church can be a little scary, especially when you don’t know what to expect. We have tried to think about what specific questions you might have when visiting our church for the first time, and the answers can be found on the following pages:
We have two identical services on Sunday mornings. Our first service lasts from 9:00 am until roughly 10:20 am, and the second service is from 10:45 am until 12:05 pm. Both services usually consist of about 40 minutes of music and activities followed by about 40 minutes of Bible teaching.
Childcare and children’s programming is provided during both services. Student worship happens at 10:45.
More information about our church services and childcare as well as general visitor information can be found under What to Expect.
On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, we offer a series of classes called Fellowship Community Classroom. Click here to learn more.
We’re glad you are thinking of visiting FBCA. The information below will give you an idea about our church and will let you know what to expect from your visit.
Fellowship Arapaho is a non-denominational church, and, in many respects, we’re not like other churches. We try to follow the teachings of the Bible in ways that match the time and place in which we live. Our music and teaching styles are contemporary. We don’t follow a liturgy or many traditions. Our atmosphere is casual and friendly. Come as you are; Be yourself. We gather to love each other, to celebrate God, and to learn how He wants us to live our lives. Feel free to read more about our church’s commitments, values, and beliefs to learn more about what FBCA believes.
There is visitor parking located on the south side of the church, facing Arapaho Rd. If that side of the lot is full, there is more parking on the east side of the worship center and a large parking lot on the back side, as well.
Upon entering the worship center, you will be greeted by a member of our Greeters committee. Please tell them you are visiting! They love helping newcomers to feel more comfortable and welcome. As you walk into the middle of the room, you can fill out a name tag so others can call you by name. (This is something we ask everyone to do — even those who have attended the church for fifteen years. It helps us to know one another on a more personal level.)
Before entering the auditorium, please help yourself to a free cup of coffee or tea in the lobby. Yes, you can bring it with you into the service!
Worship is a celebration time when we thank God and honor Him. While children are welcome, our worship is primarily designed for adults. Our worship time usually consists of about 40 minutes of music and activities followed by about 40 minutes of teaching from the Bible. During the teaching time, we welcome questions or comments. We only ask that you be considerate of others and the time allotted for our study. If you’d prefer, you can submit a written question.
As a part of our worship, we collect contributions for our ministry. We don’t want you, as our guests, to feel obligated to give. We’re simply honored to worship with you, and we hope that the time you spend at our church encourages you and enriches your spiritual journey.
During the service, you can fill out a card called, "Wanted you to know I was here…" The card is located in a pocket in the back of the seats in the auditorium. By letting us know you have visited, we can invite you to a quarterly lunch for anyone who is visiting or new to our church.
We have wonderful nursery and youth programs designed to specially meet the needs of each age group. Nursery care is provided in the worship center, children in grades 4 - 6 meet in the Kids’ Center, and junior and senior high school students meet in the Student Center (see campus map).
