Fellowship Community Classroom

Looking for a way to understand the Bible more fully, develop skills for serving, and deal with practical needs in your everyday life?  Fellowship Community Classroom is where we get to live out the idea that education is powerful and transformational. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights we offer courses to help you understand the Bible, develop your skills for serving others, and deal with the practical issues in your life. The courses are free (except for an occasional book), the kids get to have fun, and you get to grow in your relationship with Christ - what a great idea!

Conquered

   The Fall of Israel

  Led by Bill Holston

In 2 Kings, we’ll see the events leading up to the conquering of Israel by the Assyrians, one of the first military superpowers. Throughout this period God is faithful to those who seek to go against culture and follow Him.

Join us in this discussion oriented class. We take our time as we study the Bible together. Everyone, no matter what you background, has something to contribute in this class.

This class will meet Sundays at 9:00am in the Fellowship Café.

The Truth Project

  Led by Bob Browning

It has been said "the reason that we do not act like Jesus is that we do not think like Jesus". If we as believers are to become like our Savior, we need to learn how to see life as God sees it. The manner in which we view life is known as our worldview.

We will study what it means to possess a truly Biblical worldview, and how that worldview can help us to become the people God wants us to be. This 12-week DVD series is filled with application as to how we, as the Body of Christ, can impact and transform our culture.

This class will meet Sundays at 9:00am in the Fellowship House.

"Blue Like Jazz" Book Club

   Led by Broc Jahnke

"Blue Like Jazz" speaks of what it feels like to have a relationship with God without using complex and often misunderstood Christian terms. It provides plenty of material to flesh out the precepts of Christian spirituality in the context of community. This book provides a real story of one man’s journey of discovering a true relationship with God that is great for group discussion.

If you think Oprah’s book club is cool, wait until you check out Broc’s book club. Wednesday nights we’ll be pseudo hip and relevant while we sip some coffee, read a book together, and figure out the deepest darkest questions of life. Each week the reading will be light, and we would still love to have you even if you don’t get your reading done.

So, pick up a copy today of "Blue Like Jazz" and read the first two chapters for week one of class. We will have a few copies available for purchase.

This class will meet Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm, in the Fellowship House.

God’s Blog, chapter 2

      As Good As It Gets

  Led by Chip Bell

Ever wish you could capture that perfect moment in your life and relive it every single day? Too bad. As they say, "Life has its ups and downs." As we continue "God’s Blog", we get to see this maxim play out in the chronicle of God’s amazing activity in our world, what we call the "Old Testament". We witness the struggle to achieve success, prosperity and peace. We also observe how easily achievement can crumble before our eyes.

Even if you missed "chapter 1" last fall, it’s not too late to join us as we travel the world behind the Old Testament, explore the purpose of each book and discover that these ancient messages are important and relevant even today.

This class will meet Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm, in the Fellowship Café.
